Homemade Matcha Latte Recipe (Hot or Iced)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1-2 tsp honey (or sweetener of choice)
  • 2 tbsp warm water
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • Ice (optional)

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, combine the matcha powder and honey to create a paste.
  2. Add the warm water and whisk until smooth and fully dissolved.
  3. Pour the milk into a glass or blender.
  4. Add the matcha mixture and blend or whisk until combined.
  5. For an iced latte, pour over a glass filled with ice.
  6. For a hot latte, warm the milk before combining.
