This Chipotle sauce is a go-to of mine. With only a few ingredients and less than five minutes to make, you will have the perfect sauce to accompany an array of dishes. I put it on burgers, sandwiches, Mexican dishes, and breakfast entrees. You can customize the heat to your liking and also the consistency. It stores easily in the fridge and cleanup is simple.

You will need some sort of tool to puree the ingredients together such as a food processor, immersion wand or mini blender. Something like this is perfect as it blends and has a container to store it in.
How long does this Chipotle sauce last?
You can store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. For longer storage, you may also freeze it for up to 3 or 4 months.
How to Make the BEST Chipotle Sauce
Simply add the mayonnaise, peppers, juice, and cilantro to a blender and mix well. Add a teaspoon of water as needed and mix. Voila! It really is that easy to make.

Equipment
- 1 Blender Can be a food processor, mini blender, or immersion blender
Ingredients
- 1/4 CUP Cilantro
- 1 CUP Mayonnaise
- 2 TBSP Lime or lemon juice
- 2 Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce (Remove 2 from can)
- 1 Water as needed for consistency
Instructions
- Add cilantro, juice, mayonnaise, and peppers to blender and mix until pureed. If sauce is too thick, add water as needed and serve.
