Ingredients

  • 4 Avocados Very Ripe
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk Can use milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Equipment

  • 1 Blender or Food Processor

Method

  1. Scoop the avocado flesh from the avocado skin and place in a blender or food processor. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix, stirring on occasion to ensure the avocados are well blended and there are no chunks remaining.
  2. Add to glass jars and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving. Top with whipped cream, cacao nibs, or your favorite toppings. Enjoy for up to 4 days although this recipe is best eaten within the first day or two.
