Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 TBSP lavender petals (culinary grade)

Method

  1. Place the water, sugar, and lavender petals into a sauce pan.
  2. Heat on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Turn off heat, cover, and steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain out lavender and store in an airtight container in the fridge. Enjoy!

Notes

Optional Tip: Before storing into your airtight container, add one drop of both red and blue food coloring to really bring out the lavender color. This does not effect the taste but adds a nice hue to the syrup.
