Fall Harvest Recipe Guide: Cozy Recipes for Seasonal Produce
Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year. The air smells crisp, the leaves are turning, and kitchens everywhere are overflowing with pumpkins, apples, squash, and root vegetables. I wanted to make it easy for you to enjoy the season’s bounty, so I’ve rounded up my favorite fall harvest recipes. These are cozy, comforting, and perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert. I’ve included some of my own tried-and-true recipes alongside other amazing ones I’ve found. There’s something here for everyone, no matter your kitchen style or growing zone.

Apples (August through November)
Apples are perfect for baking, snacking, or adding to savory dishes. Try them roasted with pork or tossed into a salad for a little natural sweetness.

Pears (August through October)

- Local farmers’ markets and roadside stands are goldmines for peak produce! Plus it is fun and a great way to support your local farmers, they need you!
- Even if your garden isn’t producing, choose seasonal items from your grocery store. They often reflect the same harvest timing
- Don’t be afraid to experiment. Mix fruits with roasted vegetables or add root vegetables to soups and stews for natural sweetness. You really never know what you will love! If you find something unusual that works, I would love to hear about it!
